You'll find the profiles in Cheekd not very detailed. Although there is a part where you can add a paragraph about yourself, most members leave it blank or just add a little about themselves.
You can find other information on the profile. Some required is the username, profile photo/s, where the member work, address, hometown, favorite song, and what the member is looking for.
Viewing profiles is free and you can check them out instantly.
Photo upload is also free of charge and you can add up to 10 photos. There are no strict guidelines and your photo will be published right away.

As mentioned, Cheekd is a very simple app that has minimal features. However, this one feature makes it different from other apps out there.
This app uses Bluetooth to connect members and notify them when there's a fellow member nearby. Even without the internet, it will work. Although chatting can only be done when you already are connected to wifi or your data services, it still supports the app's motto "Never miss a connection" since you will always get an alert when a member that fits your criteria is withing the 30 feet radius.

Cheekd is an upgrade of the traditional business card exchange. However, the app in general still needs a lot to improve. The only special feature is the Bluetooth technology, which sends out a notification if there's a member around the area. As advanced as it may sound, it actually is not very different from the GPS or location services. Finding a member nearby is not very easy as well since the app has a limited number of members.It is still worth a try since you can download it for free and you don't need the internet to make it work. Also, it is not complicated to use. But for easier access to other members, you might want to consider other Dating Apps that we have reviewed.
