However, it is noticeable that some members, especially male ones, look much older on their profile photos than the age written on them. So it is unsure if members are lying about their age or if they just really look old.

There are quite a several obvious fake profiles on Flirt. These profiles use celebrity photos as their profile pictures, even if it is not allowed. These could have been overlooked by Flirt admins, who approve every photo upload on the website. Also, even without an approved profile photo, we received messages and videos from some women users. Flirt has a "Like Gallery," similar to a roulette-type matching activity. You will be presented with a profile photo, which you can like by clicking the heart, while the "X" button means you are not interested. On this page, you can view the likes you’ve sent, the members who have liked you, and your successful matches.

There is also a "Looking for" section on all profiles, but it is locked for free members. Below each profile is suggestions of similar users that you can look into.

Flirt profiles can become verified by calling Flirt admin operators. You will be asked several simple questions that validate your identity. There seem to be a few fake profiles in Flirt. You can assume this because some members send you messages as soon as you create a profile (even without a photo yet). These could be bots that lure members to upgrade their membership. 

Nevertheless, the site administrators continuously filter suspicious accounts and terminate profiles violating site guidelines.
