Getting an account on JOYclub is easy. You just need to fill out the form that asks for your gender and gender preference, location (city or postcode), birthday, and email. 

You also need to nominate a username and password, and when everything is approved, JOYclub takes you to the next step.

The next steps of the registration process are for you to answer some questions that will appear on your profile. So after you successfully sign up, your profile already has something on it. 

Here are the steps in successfully creating a JOYclub account:

• Preferential Question

The first set is a list of preferential questions, such as how much you’re into erotic things. On a scale of 1-5, are you comfortable with BDSM, fisting, and other kinks? 

• Appearance and Interests

After the preferential questions, you’d have to answer a new set about your appearance and interest in sex. Are you inclined to be more of a Dom or a Sub? What are your thoughts about partner swapping?

• Headline & About Me

Afterward, you’d have to write an About Me paragraph and a headline with a minimum of 10 characters. The headline is required, but the paragraph can be skipped. 

If you want to get noticed by other members, you should make this section as informative and interesting as possible. This is your chance to show who you are, so don't be afraid to let it all out!

• Profile Picture

After you hit the Next button, JOYclub will ask you to upload a profile picture. They don’t have an approval process for the photos unless a member reported your photo upload.

• Activation Code

Once everything is set and ready to go, JOYclub will send an activation code to the email you provided. Entering this code on the same page will now give you full access to the dating website.

You can skip some of the steps above, like answering the questions, but of course, answering as much as you can is better, as your profile will have information on it.

Signing Up as a Professional or a Business

You can sign up on JOYclub as a business or a professional. 

On the one hand, if you are a business looking to promote services on the site, you also need to declare what kind of business you provide, along with the other details needed above. 

Venue, event organizer, video producer, photo studio, shop, and piercing and tattoo studio are the business categories that can sign up.

If you are a professional, on the other hand, you need to indicate your specialty—whether it's photography, video producing, etc.—or if you're signing up as an agent of a company.

JOYClub has a lot of contacting features for all its members to use. Here’s a breakdown of all the contacting features the dating site has:

Clubmail

Clubmail is JOYclub's messaging feature. All members can view and reply to Clubmails, but only paying members can send the first ones.

If you are a premium member and want your messages to be noticed, it is best to send an Express Clubmail. This way, your message will be displayed at the top of the receiver's inbox. Premium membership allows you to send 10 Express Clubmails per day.

You may also save your ClubMails if you want to. Basic and Plus members get to save 5 Clubmails, while Premium members get to save 10.

Rate Members

Members can like profiles and bookmark profiles that they are interested in.

Only Premium members get notified if you sent them a Like. The other two options are just there to help JOYclub tailor its matches better for your preference.

Search

The search function of JOYclub is very extensive. Its basic filters include your gender preference, location, and age. 

The advanced features have the following filters: Relationship status, Preference for, Partner Swapping, Body Type, Inclination, Dom/Sub, Height, Smoker, Swinger, Logged in as, and Photoshoots. 

Each filter has a corresponding option based on the category. You can also search for members who are currently online and those who recently joined. 

You are also allowed to optimize your search results and show only verified members and those who have pictures on their profiles.

Groups

These are member-created groups, which are usually categorized based on fetish or desire. All members can join any group. 

However, Basic members are limited to joining 5 groups only, Plus members can join 25 groups, and Premium members can join 50.

Most of the time, these groups are secure, and you have to be a verified member to join. Some groups require that you answer some questions first before they accept your join request.

Chat

In this feature, you can join public chatrooms that are started by JOYclub. All members can freely participate. Premium members can create their chatroom and invite participants to a private chat.

Forum

This feature is filled with discussion boards, both started by JOYclub moderators and members. Here, you’ll find helpful advice from other members.

Dates & Events

Many clubs and events partner with JOYclub to host swinger parties. When you register for these events from JOYclub's event listings, you become eligible to enjoy a discount on ticket events.

This page shows the list of dates that other members posted as their updates. It usually shows you if you are nearby the location of their desired meet-up. 

You can also enter your classified date ad. Basic members are allowed to post one, Plus members can do three, and Premium gets to enter five dates.

This page is also a directory of nearby events from listed swinger clubs, bars, or studios, where you can join and register through JOYclub. JOYclub members can enjoy member discounts when they sign up through the site.

You can view the venues where events are commonly held and see their month’s upcoming events.

The profiles of JoyClub members feature great detail about who they are, what they’re looking for, and their sexual kinks and preferences.

Every profile features three tabs:

• Profile

This page shows all the profile information that the member decided to fill out. It also shows the About Me paragraph that was written during the registration process. 

Moreover, the profile page shows what the members are into and what they are not into as well as a quick box about their details. At the very bottom of this page, their kink preferences are shown as tags.

Due to its email verification method, there are minimal fake accounts on the site. There may be fake photos uploaded by users which is hard to detect by the website. Hence, users are advised to carefully check who they are communicating with. 

• Photos

This page displays the different photo albums that the member uploaded. You can censor some of your photo uploads, especially those that are R18, and only Plus members who have verified their age can view them. 

On this page, you can also see the video uploads of each member. But again, only Plus members are allowed to view them.

• News

Here, you will see all the member’s activity updates. You can see if they posted that they’re looking for a date on the Dates page or if they registered in going to an event.

In all pages of the profiles, you will see the contacting buttons readily available for you to use. 

There is also a feature called “Note,” which can help you remember something about the profile you’re viewing or allows you to take note for future reference and save it. 

You can also bookmark the profiles, and you’ll be able to go back to them anytime you wish through the Contacts tab.

Your profile shows if you are a new member and if you have already verified your identity. It also shows if you are currently online or when your last login was, except if you are a Premium member and decided to hide this particular information.
